"if played right" is key.  It's definitely made of glass and the rudder is made of toothpicks.  If you show your side, under 13km, you're a one-shot.  And, your rudder will go out if hit, given a stern look.  No pun intended.

is the Kirov as sluggish as the svietlunatic? I hope not since I don't see the purpose of a ca that turns slowly.

I thought the Kirov was fun, but personally i think the Buddy looks cooler.

I'm liking the Buddy...though amusingly just about every 'YES!' moment is immediately followed by a sudden and violent race to the sea bed, lol.

The Kirov's maneuverability feels average.  Nothing good; nothing bad.

I think it's decisively the worst in T5.

Well okay, it's top speed is very fast, but it's turn radius and rudder speed are the worst in tier 5, for a cruiser.

I need to buy a better hard drive on my only functioning PC, Normal Warships is calling to me, and I must play.

Pretty much, Kirov is another Russian cruiser in a line filled with poor maneuverability warships.

I just don't get the purpose of paper that isn't flexible. Seems like a waste of a grind.

Russian Navy attempted to ditch Flexible for durability, and applied to all of their ships, sadly, it doesn't appear to have worked all that well :P, if at all.
