But cruisers are just fresh meat to a heavily BB/DD meta. At the start of the new year I was training up on battleships to prepare for the German BB line. 777 [BARF] 1nc0mp3t3nt_1 Beta Testers 5,816 posts 5,497 battles Report post #41 Posted March 23, 2016 Ok, initial impressions on the Novik for me is: it's a bigger steaming pile than the Emden which I consider to be far inferior to the Dresden(non premium Emden, but has 2 extra gubs). Not only do I hardly hit, but most of my AP bounces off the broadside. On top of that I put a captain with AFT on my Novik, it reads 12.1Km range, but I can only aim 10.45Km. I went in and played another battle in my New Mexico. It was a Torp death but before I went down I took 2 cruisers, 3/4 of Kongo and 1/4 of a Colorado with me for 89K damage. Yet I struggle to hit anything in Novik and when that hit does magically happen, I still fail to do any damage with HE or AP. maybe because I am tired(23:33 at the time of writing this post) and a little on tilt from the rest of the people playing with me, but 0 for 6 in the Novik so far, and I can't get a kill in it, nor can I deal in excess of 20K damage. This is a stool of a ship(but then again, I hate the Nicholas, Cleveland, gremy, and Omaha so it's probably a given that I would despise this ship) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I love cruisers and that one has 7.1 inch guns! But they are taking to long to finish, it's been 25 minutes and it's not up yet! Yeah, I am eager to try that out also! German Battleships or British cruisers is what most people want.
