Need Help

Ever since i logged in today, i've been having excessively long loading times, and when i do get into battle I keep seeing  invisible ships and lagging planes.   

 

 

 

 

not sure what the hell is going on but any suggestions would be appreciated.

I got detonated from near full health by a single torpedo.

Check you got enough free disk space, use a defrag utility (I use Smart Defrag 4), and set WOWS to higher priority from Windows Task Manager. Helps to uninstall other games/programs you're not using.

 

If you're running internet stuff in the background it will slow the game. I get longer load times if opening new browser tabs.

You probably have encountered some sort of rendering delay. If it just suddenly happened today, are you downloading/installing something in the background?

Maybe run the game without any mods to see if one or more are effecting performance. I have had a few crash my game before.

no i wasn't downloading anything today.

i had a few tabs open but i dont believe it was enough to cause interference.   im just a bit confused on the exact cause of this issue.

I know it's a bug or something but I can't help but laugh at the irony-as a BB captain you already experience invisible ships firing on you on a regular basis-which im sure is no less aggravating.  

 

Hopefully you can get this all sorted out.

Maybe the optics on your Iowa are worn out.  You usually have to replace them very three thousand games or so.

The smoke mod on Aslain will lock your game at load screen.  I'm betting another one is messing up my game.  Its sometimes ping spikes.  I never had that issue till after the Mar 15 update.

I saw that torpedo det, was like oh no now it's me vs all three of them lol. Then the red Izumo got good RNG while my guns trolled me, so frustrating.

Try running without mods, defrag WoWS folder, reinstall if all else fails.

I have had the same problem before. The long load times i'm not sure why they happen. however, the invisible ship thing is a rendering issue associated with the long load times. basically in conjunction with how long it took to load the game your computer is also taking a while to render the ships probably due to communication issues between the client and the server.

 

Reinstalling might help. I personally reinstalled the game a few days ago due to another issue dealing with consecutive crashes and have not had any terrible issues with load times since. However, the issues i had seemed to be partially due to a lack of available memory in my C drive where i originally had the game installed.

Seriously, last time I had a serious desync issue I just restarted my comp. It fixed it.

Yeah, I got this too.

 

Des Moines, clearly displayed on the minimap, but completely invisible on my screen.

 

And people are saying it's my computer.
