i have this great question for our great community leader niko...... when will we see a change in team battles? I like to use a shiny Atlanta or if i had a kitakami in team battles!!!!

miss the days of running the kitakami divisions!!!! Oooooo the raging..... Well all we need is a dd to sail with the kitakami to add the smoke affect!

 

I swear WG just add a tier 10 verison of kitakami with long lances

since we have 3 team slots per player I would like to see 3 sets of Team battles --- Tier 5/6, Tier 7/8, and tier 9/10 so as players gain higher tiers they can keep the same team together.

On the EU server team battles are played with tiers 7-8. Probably because there is a larger population.

We are looking into ways of improving Team Battles. We've received feedback for different tiers as you've brought up above. As soon as new ways to play come out, we will be sure to communicate that.

For those interested, Q has stated that it is very likely that eventually Team Battles will drift towards 7-8, but right now they are happy with them being 5-6, so that they can be more inclusive.

There are really only 2 things I don't like about t8 Team Battles.

1. Tier 8 ships cost a lot to run on standard account. All I do already is grind credits. Playing t8 TBs will mean I need to grind WAY more credits.

2. Tier 8 ships are outrageously expensive to purchase. Owning and outfitting like 3 different ships for TBs to give a player some flexibility in the ships they can bring is hella expensive. I mean, I re-bought 2 separate ships for Team Battles, and the other 2 I commonly use are prem ships I already owned. That cost me quite a lot already at tier 6, probably nearly 10,000,000 credits. To do that at tier 8 will cost closer to 30,000,000 (30 mil would get me 4x tier 10s in WoT fully kitted out with crews and stuff... costs in WoWS scaled up a lot more than rewards).

 

If they run t8 TBs, I expect to spend a LOT of time in the Tirpitz or Atago cause I already own them, they are good at tier, and they make a profit easier.

well in tier 8 value they really not that expensive, now the fubiki will do fine, with it 15km torpedoes....

 

Might be done with Team battle, since playing as a merc taking forever to get a match now.....
