I like the idea of being able to test-drive ships, especially premiums. Something like what War Thunder apparently offers (I only know from Jingles' videos so take it with a grain of salt). The tanks side you have some tanks to shoot at that just sit there, the aircraft side you get either 1 truck to shoot at, or in some cases nothing to shoot at. Even with that, unless you have the vehicle unlocked and upgraded, you get the bare bones vehicle (even premiums that you test drive have nothing unlocked / improved.
