Premium additions

I've heard in a few places about premium items purchasable with dubloons...for example a perma camo for the Benson (which I just recently worked my way up to). I've searched the forums for info, and hunted in game...was this only a limited time or can I still purchase it? What else might I be missing or do I simply have to wait for it to have its time in the Premium Shop?

In port check the camo section for the ship, if you see one available for a few thousand Doubloons then that's the permanent camo.  That said its pretty pricey for the value in my opinion.

I agree some what pricey BUT in the case of my Fletcher ; which I will be playing just about forever ; I think it is worth it as it is just one payment instead of every battle .

Maybe 600 gold for all 3 different camos? Maybe a 1000 gold per ship would be acceptable, but 3000 is just a blatant money grab.

Well, if you've got a ship you really like and you're going to play it a lot, it might be worth it.

Does it only show up once the ship is Elite status? Right now no Premium Camo show but I've yet to research the C hull or the Fletcher.

Well you can get the standard camos with ingame credits and if WG is running special missions or a ranked season you can earn them in job lots for free.

 

The Prem skin was only adding an XP bonus correct?  So in the end you're paying real money for a camo that makes more XP that you need more real money to convert.  For the same amount I could get a month of Prem Time for all my ships with the XP and Credit boost it entails.  I won't begrudge what you spend money on (I run custom historical skins I don't see them anyway) but I personally would need a better incentive.

That's kinda why I wanted it now to help work on the ~140k exp I still need to get it to Elite. I already have premium, but there are a few ships I love playing and would love to add Premium Camo to. Would really love one for the New Mexico but have yet to see anything on it.

pretty sure the only US non premium DD to get it is the Fletcher

Looks like a lot of T8-9 ships may have them...but also looks like I most likely can't access them till Elite...which kills half the point. Wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to fully research the next level ship to get Elite status, but such is life.

haven't tried lately, but back in the Public Test Server - was able to buy premie camo on a newly purchased ship
