DON'T TRY TO TAKE 'EVASIVE' MANEUVERS LIKE THIS. Edited February 19, 2016 by sniper3080p

They turn their ship only to turn it right back to where the torps are gonna hit them. edit: wrong time Edited February 19, 2016 by sniper3080p

A good video, but not quite completely relevant.

The quality of the animation is amazing considering it was done without computers. Thanks for sharing. This also highlights the importance of the Situational Awareness captain skill. I recall a time recently where there were only a few ships left on both teams. I was in a BB and I had seen an enemy DD about 12 km away a few minutes earlier. The DD sank a friendly ship that was chasing it, and I knew the DD would be coming for me. I set a course in its general direction and waited. After a minute or so, I was detected, and I knew it was by that DD. So, putting myself in the DD captain's shoes, I waited about 25 seconds, giving him time to turn his ship and fire his torpedoes. Then I turned about 45 degrees left. About 20 seconds later, his torpedoes went by to starboard, exactly as planned.

In my ARP Myoko earlier, I citadeled an enemy Nurnberg that sailed in a straight line. Easy kill. At least time your slowing down with the enemy's ROF so he misses, but he didn't even try that.
