Fix repair cost

Currently the game charges a maintenance fee even if you do not receive any damage. Its been like that since Beta, why is it bothering you now?

 

Unless you are saying there is a bug and the credits are being deducted and you gain nothing from battle.

Refueling/Maintenance fee. Higher tiers lose upwards of 150K just for hitting the battle button. 3,000 credits is literally like a penny compared to the costs of high tiers.

Wait till you grind your tier 9/10 and run out of money if you get sunk, then have to go grind your low ships for more cash, just to play your high tiers again.  It's something we have brought up, and the DEV's have promised they are looking into ship repair costs.

I'm a relatively new player but now that I've leveled up to tier 8 I've noticed how much you lose each match.

Did they do this so you'd have to spend cash to buy credits to play?

No it's not. You're quite frankly just going to have to deal with it. If it bothers you that much, do better in battle to cover that literally insignificant loss of 3000 credits.

C. get a tier 5 or 6 you do really well in.

A 20% hit rate is pretty bad.

Unfortunately you're just going to have to try and carry all your games while trying not to get sunk. I grinded through the NC with a standard account and 1 premium consumable, and most of my games ended with a small profit or break even. Games where I lose money are the ones I do crap damage in.

FFS, I have a credit balance of 58 million.  It is NOT hard to earn credits in this game, if you play decently on average.  Of course, having a premium account does help.  But the most important thing is to play decently. 

 

As a result, I have no sympathy for someone complaining about a measly 3,000 credits, whether it's about repairs or some chump change "fine" for accidentally ramming (or being run into by) a team mate.

I lose 10-20k regularly in my Izumo even on good games, but I make it back in the great games where I make 100k+ at high tiers the repairs force you to get better or go to lower tiers.... I just go farm credits in my Yorck/Warspite if I am ever in need....

You...May just outright suck at the game. 20% hit rate seems to signify this as an accurate statement.

 

You don't really deserve any credits if you are still deficiting money, especially with a premium account.

 

If I can earn consistently 200-500k credit income games, why can't you actually have a positive net credit compared to a deficit? It's like you're TRYING to lose all your credits. Hell, I understand that tiers above 7 are a credit gambling machine usually with a 60% chance for loss, but that's really only for the individuals who don't do enough damage to cover the repair bill. That isn't saying it's a bad thing -- But you're complaining over a measly 3000 credits. That's nothing.

 

SUMMARY

 

The problem isn't the game, it's the captain. Get better or suffer in your minor..3000 credit losses.

I wonder why the game doesn't show you your net income under 'personal score'. Is it because people would be discouraged from seeing a small or negative amount unless they clicked 3 more buttons?
