Making them almost impossible to see even from the lookout from the top of a BB. I should be able to see a DD at 5 k should see it 15 k but that you wont do that. Making them almost impossible to see even from the lookout from the top of a BB. Your tier 6 and tier 7 BBs deal about twice the damage when compared to your IJN DDs of the same tier. They are not overpowered and heck - after 3-4 games tonight the torps are easy to avoid from the last patch and the aiming guide seems to be even farther off. I am spotted at 6 KM on inward just like I should. And no - they are small boats on a large ocean and they are harder and harder to see teh father away they are. The nearly unavoidable Shimakaze (and to an extent, Kagero) torpedo walls are now almost completely unavoidable at over 70 knots unless you opt to not stay with the rest of the fleet and thus avoid being area-targeted from up to 16 km away. Good job WG, buffing the principal issue that was causing the high tier passivity and salt even before the buff. Sadly, I don't see myself taking out any T10 CAs or BBs anytime soon as a result. That's one of the many reasons why mid tiers are best tiers in this game, Who wants to honestly play at tier 8-10 and have the worst time. and WG wonders why nobody wants to play high tiers, it's absolute garbage. at least tier 6 and so they have a 1-2 Km of invisibility so it isn't that bad. Didn't find torps any different from before.....if anything, they are easier to reveal and avoid now with the upgraded Vigilance. Not that they are real hard to avoid in the first place. Manual scout plane to light him up. 2. strafe them and nuke the torps for cvs 3. rng dud torps? higher chance for USN dd? Shima walls for instance often can't be avoided due to being caught in a random maneuver from eons away. Even if they are spotted early, you just don't have enough maneuverability in a BB, CA or VMF DD to avoid the wall entirely, so thick and broad it is compared to what one may be used to in mid-tiers. Maybe you end up eating one. But wait, eating just one of her torpedoes ruins your day anyway because of the enormous damage. At the very least, Shimakaze and Kagero need a torpedo range nerf so that the new supercharged light speed torpedo ability becomes a tradeoff rather than a no-brainer. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We need silent killers to get large juicy targets like BBs and CVs (keeps me on my toes), and scout, and sneak cap and *insert DD role here*! 7 tribal556 Members 43 posts 1,210 battles Report post #25 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) One DD was shooting from smoke, it doesn't even make him appear....at ~8km...maybe less.. i could see where it was, from tracers, but he stayed invisible while firing his guns for some time, the time i get closer (in Nagato) it has already moved to the invisible zone....out of smoke and torping silently. all of this at the edge of map, still it escaped detection somehow. i don't care torpedoes, but how a ship can disappear like that... it s puzzling If people want to play ninjas... find a ninja game.... ffs.
