Actually, now that you mention it, I've seen it twice in the last few days.  Once it happened to me (admittedly in my NC, not Iowa), and I saw an Iowa done the same way a couple days later...both times on the Hot Spot map....

No... No, that's a typical day in a BB man. lol At least that's been my experience.

Had one the other day in NM where my forward turrets got taken out, turned to retreat and bring the only operational guns left to bear, next thing I know, same guy takes them out too. So yeah, at that point it's a mix of secondary use and trying to ram. One of the few times I've thought there was something suspicious given it was NM vs NM, he had his broadside to me, and hits that normally did something did nothing, and took out one gun, while being pointed toward him to make use of game armour mechanics he practically takes out my guns with sniper level accuracy.

Thats the funny thing about it, it was the first time I'd ever lost both front turrets in the NC...not that I have that many games in it, maybe 100 between closed beta and now.  But the event is rare enough that I noticed it, and then to see an Iowa done the same way the next day...

 

Maybe WG changed something in the mechanics of turret durability...or not, could just be random.
