Team Battles?

What tier ship are they?  In the public test and all the documents before it was tier 8 and above now in game it says 5 to 6.  what is it?  I need to know so i can make a ship purchase

Tier 8 but u can bring lower tiers if u want

They seem to work similarly to Ranked except you can choose any tier ship, but not 100% sure.
