Project R is almost ending. We're sitting at 5.7m pearls as of writing this topic. So if you haven't reached your 150 or 260 milestone yet, hop to it!

 

However, some more things you should keep in mind:

 

- Don't forget to spend your pearls! The 150 and 260 milestones are based on pearls earned, not pearls remaining. So there's no reason not to go to the Project R page, the Treasures tab, and spend those pearls.

 

- The official event end date is February the 14th. After that there is a whole lot of paperwork they have to go through to get the Kamikaze's handed out. So be patient, give them the time. Personally I don't expect mine to arrive before Thursday the 18th.

 

- No, there is no special reward for reaching 300 pearls, nor is there anything you can do with leftover, unspent pearls when you've opened all the bonus chests.

well I'm stuck at 250. Doesn't matter which mission I'm trying to accomplish nothing gets recorded. I should be well over 270 by now but I see nothing.

That is just a reporting / display bug, one that's been addressed on the forum. Read this.

Sad to say, as useful as this thread is, it's actually wasted on those that failed 2nd grade. Good to get a reminder on that part.

No, I just used mild sarcasm on someone who asked for an answer that was written out perfectly in the very OP. People say 'stupid questions don't exist', but when the exact answer is written in exactly so many words on the very page someone asks that question, that's just useless filler.

I did math and figured, based upon the only site that records pearls earned, that I couldn't get to 260 so I stopped playing for pearls...

Now it's bugged and maybe if I had kept playing I would have reached 260?????

Well, you made the choice to stop playing apparently without looking on the forum to confirm that it was just a display bug.

That all depends on when you stopped and what you had completed. The number of kills and winning matches are something you should be doing regardless of pearls so do so you could still have been earning them. There were others that gave pearls fo damage done as well as play certain tier ships. 

 

Edit: As Lert points out you can't be "cheated" for something you chose to give up on.

Thanks for the heads up, Lert. You are right to let the masses know to spend their pearls.

 

TalonV's observation is right - most won't see Lert's encouragement on the forums - and that the best way to spread the word is in game.

 

I'll spread Lert's encouragement in in-game chat. Plenty of time with slow loading to post a one line chat message - Spend your Pearls.
