Page Length (Format) Excessive

I realize the forums are practically new, however, the scroll to the bottom of the page is lengthy, in some cases excessive.  Sure, it creates a welcomed change from the norm.  Admittedly, when using the find feature (CTRL+F), one can locate all hits on one page.  But that is besides the point.  Considering the WoT and WoWP forums, the format in WoW does not reflect what its fan base is accustomed too.

I believe that there is already a topic about it, as I answered it in the past.

  • Click on your forum name.

  • Click on "my settings"

  • Click on Forums

  • Adjust the number of posts you want to see per page

Hmm, still, might be an idea to change the standard forumsettings to like 10 or 20 posts per page, as it's safe to assume that nobody likes 200 posts on one page.

Gaea, is this possible???

Actually, no! I actually suggested an alternative sollution! :Smile_glasses: Changing the standard forum settings will prevent people asking how to change the settings. (there's nothing wrong with that though)

Yeah, not sure why they changed things on this forum... I was just teasing you anyway, you cat-hater!

+1

Thank you for reviewing this thread.  Perhaps the DEFAULT should reflect the other WN forum formats (WoT, WoWP) and let the user change it later.

Enjoy your weekend.

I dunno but I just posted a similar thread in a different area because my brain completely missed the Forum Issues section.

Yes, I knew we had discussed that in other threads, but it was not easy to locate, even with a search.  Just reminded me that we were supposed to have an answer, but I guess too much partying in California made them forget ...
