You have an awesome score

But

Did you do all the damage to 8 ships or just the final Damage.

Yesterday in my St Louis I did about 3/4 of damage to 4 ships only to have a BB following me finish each one with a final salvo. He actually waited to fire. I doubt that you did this, but my point is that others may have done damage, so you have a great score and it was a good team match.

But they may not be all dead by your Kongo or am I reading this wrong .

I'm thinking they did quite a bit of damage as well, with High caliber and Confederate achievements, and 2 devastating strikes.  Those are based on how much damage one does.

Agreed, wish the OP would have posted the damage done screenshot along with this just so that we can see how much of an influence over the battle he actually had. From personal experience, I've periodically made it to the top 3 on my team with no kills just because I did a great deal of damage which to be honest is kinda easy to do in a battleship.

Also, just because...

One of the Devastating Strikes was my 7th kill, and I took 2 of the 8 ships down from full HP in multiple salvos: a Wyoming and Zuiho (kills 6 and 8 respectively).  The Phoenix that I landed one shot on was at about 9k health; the hit was a citadel.

 

PCola, I've been in that position too. Had a number of matches where I've not gotten any kills at all but topped the team list in XP and/or damage, especially at higher tiers.  Amagi tends to get really close to killing but doesn't net the Devastating Strike; usually a cruiser or another battleship finishes off the 4-5k HP opponents reeling from any good salvos I throw out.
