When does Project R finish?

I did a quick count up and it appears you can get 135 pearls in a week (55 weekly + 80 one-time). The mission screen implies the event ends when we reach 4 million pearls. The homepage says the event runs till Valentines day. If the event ends before the end of the week, because we have acquired 4M pearls, will nobody be able to get the 150 or 200 pearl rewards? Once we have achieved 200 pearls do the personal missions reset or are the pearls after 200 only relevant to the crates?

whenever we complete the required amount of combined pearls earned.

also I don't know what your talking about when we can't earn enough pearls, I have around 80 already due to the missions.:aqua:

13k players will need to max it out (300 pearls) for us to get to 4 million pearls. I think you will have no trouble getting to 150 before that happens.

By that math it also means you will have around a 1 in 13 to 1 in 20 ( to take into acoount those that dont max out ) chance to "win" a Kamikaze :(

That can't be a "sad" face? A 5% chance is good enough to give one hope. U-turn frown upside-down!

Right on. I've got 2 myself, and it just started a couple days ago.

Plus you're generally just able to hit "join project R" and then doing absolutely nothing different in your normal day.  Basically it's just free stuff so that's awesome.

There appears to be 80 pearls from one-off missions and 55 that reset weekly. So the maximum number of pearls will be 80+(55*4) = 300 pearls. This assumes we don't get the 4M pearls until the last day or that the event doesn't truellly end once 4M have been gathered. If alot of people gather pearls but do not achieve 150 pearls then the odds of 1 in 13 may improve significantly if the event ends at 4M (assuming the event doesn't end in the first week when nobody has achieved 150).

Agreed. This might be the most harmless special we have had in a long time. Boat loads of rewards for simply just playing the game.

Not like the still current ARP missions that had people fighting over each other for 30 DD kills. I will admit, i got a little stubborn for some of those bloody kills.

Actually the way I read the competition only those with 150 pearls when we tick over 2M pearls get entered for the chance to win a Kamikaze.

Even I can reach the 150 next week (if next weeks missions will give the same rewards like this week) I would agree that the event should end at the 14th. It gives players that join later or have only a limited amount of playtime a chance to get all rewards even it would cut my chance of a Kamikaze R.

Chances are, they would extend the milestone if the playerbase contribute to the end of the milestone too fast. Still, a 4-week event is more than enough.

They have to make it last long enough to give the average players a chance to get to 150.

What I'm wondering is if we have enough players joined in to even reach the 2,000,000 needed to activate the ship lottery, and 4,000,000 needed for the 4,000,000 credits.  While the progress has been good so far, the pearls one player can get in game are limited.  Assuming the average participant gets 150 pearls, we will need 13,333 and 26,666 participants respectively to reach those milestones.

I see there is a Facebook option to get more (ultimately, this Project is made to advertise).  I don't do Facebook, so I don't know how much the liking and telling friends adds.  Does anybody know?

Yeah. It was pure frustration just trying to get kills with the ARP missions. God, those 30 DD kills. At least this event catered to everyone. Even if it's a chance to get a free ship.

We don't have 13K players on a regular basis.

Is there a link for this? I know the Asia server did have some sort of social media event but I am unaware of this for the NA server.

The Project R webpage says it gives pearls for Facebook stuff, right next to the like/share buttons.  Currently it also says 5.1k next to that.  I assume that is how many have come from Facebook so far.
