No questions asked. They got the 145 pearls, they got Kamikaze. Now WG has brought the event over to NA and EU, but instead of using the same event, they changed it. We all have A CHANCE of getting Kamikaze if you get the 150 pearls. There will only be 1000 Kamikaze's GIVEN AWAY BY LOTTERY on the NA server. This is, by all means, a complete and utter disgrace. There were over 3000 Kamikaze's awarded on SEA, but NA is only getting 1000 to raffle away. I sincerely hope that WG will revise this and make amends. Not because I want Kamikaze R, there are bigger issues at hand. Having RNG involved in giveaways is fine, it's reasonable. But it stops being a giveaway when you have to put in a decent amount of work to _enter_ the giveaway, and imagine how you'd feel if you were a ship collector and wanted all three Kamikaze's and can't get Kamikaze R because a computer told you "no, [edited] off"? You'd feel miffed. I don't want WG to think this is an OK thing to do because now it's just a ship, if we don't raise our concerns then they'll just implement it to other practices because obviously it worked here. That's how bundles escalated to such ridiculous sizes, the vocal part that was paranoid and raised their concerns early on were silenced by forum bans and people telling them to stop being entitled and look where we are now. WG can not take it's players, some of which paying for granted, even if the forum is a minority it's still a portion of the game community, a sample size. Without the players WoWs is going to sink, we should have more input on the behaviour that they're exhibiting, both the free and paying players because the old saying is "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch," if you're not paying you're being sold. I'm not saying that I can run a company better, or can market the game better, all I am asking for is for them to communicate their reasoning more and listen to our feedback. I have seen them say "We're listening," "We value your feedback" but I don't see them use that feedback. Probably the only reason they're being this ridiculous lately is because they realized that they have no real competition. It breaks my heart, I love WoWs. I enjoy it a lot and I've been playing it almost consistently since OBT, but this behaviour just means that it's going to sink really fast once competition pops up (and they will pop up.) Boycotting the prem shop and TKing all kamakazi you see is pretty much all your left with. Forums are useless and merely 5% of the players even read them. Boycotting the prem shop and TKing all kamakazi you see is pretty much all your left with. Forums are useless and merely 5% of the players even read them. From the front page "2127 users are online; 281 members, 1829 guests, 17 anonymous users" Even a quarter of that is still more than 5% of the player base. Even if those 2000 people aren't playing, they could be-- And would you be considering to play the game after you read a thread about a pressing concern that's obviously being ignored? Why are NA players such entitled crybabies? So I guess complaining how WG pulled a freaking 180 and decided to hold the Kamikaze over our heads with a lottery game makes me "entitled." I hate that word. It describes the generation of Americans that I am in and I hate that. I am anything but entitled. I work for what I want. I don't like it when things are handed to me on a silver platter. The problem is everyone wants to take part in it, just the damn mechanic to randomly select players to get the ship after they went through all the requirements. Imagine you're going for a driver's license, it's free and you pass the exams. But to get the drivers license you have to roll a 42 on a d100 if you don't then you just won't have a driver's license. Kamikaze R probably won't be sold but rather given away as a reward for Project R since there's another one without the "R" that has a normal moss green camo pattern. But, I also highly doubt any...ANY...thing will get them to change their minds. They think they know best and we're all just the unwashed masses who login daily, weekly, or monthly, to pay our sacrifices to the great online gaming entity known as Wargaming.
