2 Points Domination Game Mode Should Never Be in Random Battle !

This game mode simply DO NOT fit for random battle,  in random battles most of the players dont communicate with others AT ALL while WG doesnt encourage players to do so.  and without a clear guidance from the game mode itself they would just wandering around the map then die in vain OR just sit in the base for the whole damn round.

 

I think the 2 Points Domination can be a very good and competitive game mode for CLAN WAR when all the players can play cooperative and following lead. but its ruining random battle right now especially higher tier game --- almost all the BBs would sit in the base with 4/1 speed and trying to sniper their target from 20km away in this game mode.

 

Do you think 2 Points Domination should be remove from the random battle ? any other thoughts to change this pain-in-axx situation?

 

2 Points Domination = Only 2 points on the map, and capture enemy point will win the game instantly. I dont know what its officially call.

Yes they do, by having a gamemode wherein actual teamplay leads to easier and quicker victories. You're arguing WG does nothing to encourage teamplay and then want to remove the gametype that promotes it more than any other?

But quick victories are arguably the most unrewarding and unfulfilling outcomes in a game. No matter what happens, if the game gets capped out and ended in 4 minutes, no one is getting good xp or credits (besides maybe the capper). I don't even feel like I've won when the game ends before I see an enemy player. It just feels like I've wasted my time.

You're referring to standard battle domination right? That mode was turned into a domination mode so draws would almost never happen. It's not going anywhere anytime soon since it's the original game mode with some minor adjustments to prevent draws.

Sorry but... You're being naive or childish about WG. They dont have to take your hand , and encourage you to do something , they just open a free enviroment for you, and you are free to do whatever you want. As you just stated , most of random matches have no communication at all. Witch means in other words , if you , as player , lead your mates to victory,or assist them in chat/minimap , you may succeed most of the times , or at least , have an edge over the enemy.

 

Yes , teamwork have to be better rewarded in this game , they have to reward for spotting for an exemple , witch is really important in some matches. 

 

Winning is the reward of the group, isnt an individual reward , individuals have to be rewarded properly , I think WG have to work better on this. More EXP to spotting , MVP player, more individual bonuses etc . Theres a lot of room for improvement .

Then they are doing a horrible job at it since in 80% of my games there werent ANY real communicates between the players, especially in 2 Points Domination , what would you say to them ?  who would listen to you ? who has the time for nerdy things like win and team play ? they are just having fun here ! get real man.

 

The problem is , This game type DOES NOT promotes team play but it requires it. and team play is a rare thing to see in random battle, especially in 2 Points Domination.

I am new but I was wondering about that.  I thought that 2 circles meant that it was a standard battle and 3-4 meant that it was a domination map.  So to be accurate and to get it straight in my mind, were the standard battles removed and there are only domination battles that consist of 2-4 circles?

More or less, although 2 flag domination isn't really domination so much as Capture the Flag Deathmatch. Some folks kept [edited]about draws, even tho a draw is a completely valid result. So WG switched things around so fewer draws happened. Boring, if you ask me. If people wanted less draws they should've played better.

Yeah basically what happened is with standard battles, like in World of Tanks, the two teams fight and if one team caps the other team's base it's an immediate victory for the capping team. The same rules applied to standard battles in World of Warships as well; however, often there would be one or two ships who would run off and prevent a team from winning by killing all of the enemy ships, and it takes 3 minutes to cap a base in WoWS, down to a minimum of 1 minute with 3 ships on cap, so if the leading team couldn't catch the remaining ship(s) or couldn't cap in time the battle resulted in a draw, which is a loss for both teams. I think by the time WarGaming added the domination rules into standard battles I had an 11% draw rate. These rules effectively prevented draws from happening because when the timer hits 0 in domination mode, the team with the most points wins. In addition, in standard battle domination you could still cap the enemy base for an immediate victory, so all that really happened was the domination ticket counter was added into standard battles mode, and that change made it almost impossible to get a draw.

This isn't a ship racing game.  Some us us would like to shoot at each other.

I disagree. 

 

It eliminates draws pretty damn effectively which there was a lot of in beta

I prefer two points domination to having way too many 20 minute draws.  *shudders at the memory*
