*sigh* Equating RL to a game again, are we? Is it that time again?

 

The damage numbers are balanced simply on their in-game performance. The numbers used to be higher but the russian destroyers - especially high tier - were murdering things with impunity. They were nerfed to bring them more in line with the other tin cans in game performance.

 

Also, did you have to post this twice? Is once not enough?

Can not use handguns as a example, different physics, and Ship rounds were developed for different reasons. So your argument does not work. also different nations ship rounds are built different. All the countries do not buy there ammo at Ahab the gun store. (We Deliver):B

Russian destroyers are fun to play. You have to use the guns more than the torpedoes, but American destroyers play the same way in my opinion. Short range makes you have to plan out torpedoes shot. I can see where is gets frustrating. Most of the time i play it as live fast and die young.

I prefer to think of it as play it like that persistant, belligerant drunk that everyone hates.

Heh, what a bit like this

I'm only at the Gnevny but I do like the line. Turret traverse is a bit hard to manage, but good shell velocity and AP that can do some good work in the right circumstances.
