The simple option to disable the ARP skins would make pretty much everyone happy. Only being able to see the ships with Yokosaka and having to do the impossible task of deleting textures to mitigate it, just make things simple and add a toggle. /rant

I love my NYC port, but I also want to see the ARP ships when in battles, but I do not want to switch to the Yokosuka port. I mean, it looks cool, but I really like my NYC more... Just a simple check box in the general settings tab, or right in the port screen UI somewhere would be HIGHLY beneficial. We need this.

Kitsune, I don't know if you've seen this before but try this: There's a really easy workaround for this: Port Swapping Navigate to your WOWS install directory and open the following folders: res>spaces Scroll down & you will see various folders named "Dock_Something" which are pretty self explanatory. "Dock_Japan" is the folder with the ARP dock, just take any other dock folder, copy it and rename it to "Dock_Japan" then overwrite the original. Launch the game & voila! you now have your preferred dock being used. You should backup the original dock before doing this so you can revert anytime It should allow you to 'reskin' the Yokosuka port as the NYC port, so you can see the APR ships but have that NYC skyline in the background. ONLY IN BATTLE (if someone else is using it). The ONLY way to see your own ARP ships is to be running Yokosuka. I agree a simple checkbox would be nice (I prefer NY port, but want to see the ARP content) and I expect it might come in due course if enough ppl ask for it (the toggle already exists, but it is linked to the port ATM)

WG's contradicting themselves in multiple sources. I'm confused af right now. A buddy of mine could not see the ARP Kongo name or the special skin and I could. I had the port selected (was workin on missions for free ships) and he did not. ONLY IN BATTLE (if someone else is using it). The ONLY way to see your own ARP ships is to be running Yokosuka. Id love it if the ship stayed in your port naked if you had a different port selected. That Myoko skin looks like a frakin Barbie marital aid...

I'll have to try this then....still, I fear it'll turn off the music that plays in the NYC port....I REALLLY like that music...and I believe, at least right after I downloaded the patch that added this stuff, that the Yokosuka port had a different music track playing.... I'll look into it though, maybe I can find a way to switch over the music as well if it doesn't do it by moving just the port over.

In fact the only port that has different music is the Hawaii port, as that's the premium port. Interestingly enough, I reskinned my ocean port to the Hawaii port, and it plays the premium account music every time I log in but after one battle it goes back to the music that plays in every other port because I only have a standard account.
