Game sh***** itself in ranked... again. FPS bug.

Is anyone having the problem in ranked where your FPS goes to 3-6 FPS until you die, then you go back to full FPS? It happens to basically everyone in the game.

 

WG, if you can't fix this can you at least detect this, dump us out of the game, and have a do-over or something. Rank 3 is stressfull enough without having to put up with this.

It's not going to prevent it from happening again, but Alt + Tabbing out then back in normally fixes it.

Windowed full screen, but it doesn't matter, as it happens to all 14 people.

While I've never had it happen in Ranked. Alt Tabbing has never fixed this for me. Thankfully (knock on wood), this has only happened to me twice in 2,060 games and hasn't in about 4-5 months. But ya, only fix for me was unfortunately, death. Not a port out, but death. Everything fine for about 20 seconds then boom, 3-5 fps until death. Most of the players in the match, same problem until they died as well, with the exception of a few. Mod free client here btw.

It was happening to people in my game earlier tonight too. I was in a CV and didn't get hit with it for some reason. But yea, it isn't specific to Ranked or anything, it's just the dreaded "fps bug". It's been going on for as long as I've been playing, I think.

Ya, me either. I keep my system up to date (habit of mine), but that is also the first place I look when things like this happen. What is it on my end,rather than the forum "norm" if you will, but I haven't been able to replicate nor pinpoint the cause of it. Let alone find the solution. /shrug
