24 [SG] greyhound_213 Beta Testers 56 posts 2,126 battles Report post #1 Posted January 16, 2016 The Sims is not a very good DD, but I have been playing it a bit more just because it looks so good with the premium camo, not just the camo design, but there is no rust. My Fletcher looks a bit frumpy. Then I look at my Gearing, which must have the "extra corrosion package" skin. Blech. The rustiest part of the Gearing? - the depth charges. If WG is going for realism with the rust, there would not be any rust on the depth charges. Can we please, please, please have a "fresh paint" option so all of our ships can look as good as the premiums??

I too would like to have the freshly painted skin as an option, if only for screen shots.

Skins don't really break unless WG re-does the ship model itself, which really doesn't happen all that often. And ever then, its a simple fix usually. Just wait for the mod author to update, and than re-add the updated skin. I've been using the same skins since April. I have seen too many posts where using mods causes problems, especially after patches - I play for fun, I just don't want the hassle.
