Got one like that too... Also got one where every cruiser was the new russian cruiser. I don't know if it's because everyone is trying to fill their plane kill mission or if the game became world of cruiser but it's kinda annoying for CV.

Reminds me of that match where nearly all of the surface ships were Cleveland's and each team had a Lexington and a Hiryu. It was a glorious battle, everything was on fire and planes were dropping so fast it looked like a meteor shower.

The sheer number of CAs recently is making CV play rather troublesome.

 

If there's 2 CVs per team it becomes somewhat manageable, since people tend to overlap Defensive Fires, and the number of attacks being made is doubled, but with only 1 CV it's difficult to get in any meaningful damage.

Once the mid/lategame rolls around, and the numbers (and AA mounts) have been thinned by the HE spam you can do damage, but it's quite frustrating at times.

I have seen a lot more games that are missing certain classes of ships lately. I had multiple games in the last few days with no battleships or no destroyers but plenty of cruisers =).

But with the state of CVs none of those cruisers are running Anti Air Defense, right?  They should all have Hydro equipped
