Why is it that some ships can see through the smoke and can fire accurately and others can't see through the smoke at all? And don't say that some ships can see over the smoke. Do the laws of physics just not apply in this game?

You lose concealment value for shooting your guns, too. Not all ships have the same detection range, too. And of coarse the laws of physics dont really apply...ships in real life dont have health bars. Edited January 16, 2016 by thestuff

WTH, I thought this was not the way it was supposed to work. If they fire guns then they are supposed to be visible but that is not how it is working, It is an unfair advantage. This requires a spotter from outside the smoke, if I'm not mistaken. I've been in many 1v1 situations where a DD smokes and loses the ability to fire on me. You won't see an enemy ship unless someone else in your team is spotting them for you. What's happening is your team is radioing you with the enemy position. Granted, it's a bit very precise for WW1/WW2 technology.

Do the laws of physics just not apply in this game? smoke is a LOS block...if ANOTHER ship that is NOT having their los block by the smoke is reporting teh location of enemy ships past smoke...the laws of physics do indeed still exist and the laws say, "thou location is revealed by a third party smoke will not protect thee"

It simply manipulated the game results to try and keep the game going and growing. Wouldn't you?

Actually I think that feat just applies to time acceleration, since battles in WoWs are around 4x to 5x the speed of real time in order to avoid exceptionally long, and monotonous battles.
