Do you remember when you were noobs?

I still do, i couldn't aim torps and tought DDs were Overpowered, i barely used consumables and barely checked the minimap, and i couldn't aim shots in diagonal or in the spotter plane topdown view, really hated that view change. That's it.

Why can't people just play along?

not being a noob and learning how to be consistent in the application of the qualities that make you a successful captain are unfortunately different events.  You can be fairly experienced and still make classic mistakes.

Still not a huge fan of the spotter plane view though...  IMHO we don't have access to it for long enough at a time to get a good feel for it, but some modified crosshairs can help somewhat.

Oh I agree it can be useful, especially when shooting over islands.  I just suck at adapting to a different view that's only accessible for a short time.  Too bad it can't be enabled for the entire duration of a training room session, as it would be much easier to practice with that way.

Far too many do not...and extension of some "entitlement" or "elitism" towards those that can't or don't spend hours everyday playing.

• only using HE from the Kawachi all the way up to the Fusō. Then I discovered the power of AP.
• shooting at everything with my destroyers, and then giving up because they were too 'under-powered'. Then I discovered concealment and surface detection ranges

Only 'pro scope' in Aslain's is a crosshair mod by m0nster4x.  It's a good one though and is what I've been using for a while.

Shucks, I'm still, and for probably quite a while longer, a WoWS noob who from time to time cannot bring myself to get out of bino-view, and wind up beaching, or hitting an ally.  No.  I didn't migrate from WoT, or any other wargaming.net platform. Yet it's a fun and great game, and those who "can't play along", or flame, indiscriminately insult, ridicule, or demean noobs?  In a term: superiority complex?  How easily some forget

I remember running headlong into the fight to do some damage all kamikaze like. Die, then load in another game and repeat. Was horrible for my stats and learning.

Anytime someone gets sunk within the first 5mins and is watching your ship, you'll be called a Noob. Even if you end up being #1 on your team.

 

Heckling can actually turn you back into a Noob. It can throw your game off.
