Hi

 

Is this game just like WoT, where you have to research modules in order before you can research the next vehicle?

 

Because somehow on my tier I US ship I managed to research my tier 2, and without buying it I researched the tier 3

You can see the research tree in the same way as in WoT - if you are high enough account rank to have 'unlocked' tech tree access.

got the game free from facebook ... hooked ımmedıately ...... so now ım tier 2  level  10 over 8 mıllıon and ım xp,d to the max...my commander ıs also maxed out and cant go further .... ..... cant go any further unless ı buy doubloons ...... ıs thıs rıght ???? .... level 10 offers me mıssıons  but ı cant do coz ı need the next tier shıp  whıch ı cant get .!!!!!

You need to research things similarly to WoT to advance, but the connecting lines to new ships are the components that need researching.  While the affected modules must be researched, they do not need to be purchased in order to advance.

 

Modules for the current ship can be researched with Ship XP (just like WoT) and any module on any ship can be researched with Free XP (again, just like WoT).

 

Perhaps you researched the tier 3 using free XP?

You do not have to buy anything with doubloons.

 

Do I understand you correctly that you purchased a tier 2 ship and now have a lot of ship XP for it?  Select that ship in your port, then click the 'modules' tab near the top of the screen.  There is a flow chart there of sorts showing upgrades.  There are arrows that point from the stock modules to ones that have to be researched using XP.  Follow those arrows and you will see the next tier ship in that line (it's a little tab).  As you progress, you will have to research all modules in the line to the next ship.  Then you can click on the tab with the next tier ship, research and purchase it.  At higher tiers there will some modules that you won't necessarily have to research in order to advance to the next tier, but you will have to research all modules to reach 'elite' status with that ship.

Nothing in this game requires doubloons.  You can buy and sell ships, do research, add camo, equip premium consumables and just about everything else without doubloons.

 

Even if upgrades are attached to a ship, it will ask to demount a upgrade (upon selling) for doubloons, but if you click the down arrow beside demount, you can select "sell" instead, where you'll receive half-cash back for that sold upgrade.

 

It's confusing to a lot of players at first.  Visuals like the one at this thread can help though.
