How are people finding their hit rates?

I see people mentioning stats I can't seem to find. For example, their hit rates per ship, detentions, etc.

 

Where can I find this info?

Hit rates vary.  I have acuiser with a average 38% hit rat and BB with a 24% hit rate.

 

The New York sucks, I shoot volley after volley to watch rounds go long or short right at dead center of ships.  I was shooting a stationary kongo BB, 5 volleys fired, 4 total hits, that is 50 rounds out and 4 hit the target.  It is frightfully pitiful! It's hit rate is so bad I have no idea what to do, It never gets hit so it can't get any damage and therefore I finish way down in pile with little to no XP. 

 

The RNG for shot placement is to blame, I can aim and my 38% hit rate proves I know how to.  The NY is just screwed by the dev team for reasons unknown.

American bbs in general have poor accuracy. The shots just splatter all over the place. I've been saved on more than one occasion because of this.
