Playing with friends

I am new to the forum, and I am playing with a lot of friends, but we realized that we can't join in a division that is "full" with only three members... Is there a way to play in more people? Like joining a division with four or five people together... I am very desperate for that, thanks a lot and sorry for my bad English.

3 member divisions can already swing the tide of a game, more than that could lead to complete OP teams (or severely under-tiered teams depending since the MM isn't always bright when using them). Best bet, wait for a strongholds or Clan Wars style mode.

If the divisions are too large, and team A has one and team B doesn't, it can have much too large an influence on the outcome of the battle and be very unfair to the team that doesn't have the overly large division.

Just try clicking Battle at the same time when you're within the same tier.

But in games like Dota and LoL, this happens also... It would be more realistic if everybody could play as a "team", because its always easier to cooperate with your friends.

This isn't about realism.  It's about game balance.  And it's been determined and decided that divisions larger than 3 ships are too imbalancing to the game and unfair if the other team doesn't have a division of the same size.  That's the way it is and the way it's going to stay.  This is a carryover from WoT where the largest platoons are 3 tanks in its 15v15 random battles.

 

At some point in the future, WoWS will have clan wars and some sort of team battles.  But for now, you'll just have to deal with the fact that divisions are no larger than 3 ships.
