Have too much of a life to grind both. Let me make your decision very easy. Completing the two missions will provide you with loot, flags, and two permanent ships. And there are only 3 more ships in the extended tech tree. So...what's next? I'd bet that they recycle the missions again. At least, I'd hope so! I have friends that are just starting the game now - they haven't gotten past level 5 on their account, and have until 10 before they even have access to these missions. In addition, they have tier 2 and 3 ships. They don't have much of a chance of getting these missions done unless they brute-force play the game, something they just aren't willing to do... I am about to get Kongo but I really want the Myoko. Being primarily a BB player I am going to have to play my cruisers to finish the DD kills and setting fires.
