ARP ships and Ranked

ARP missions count if completed in ranked? in between loading screens and cannot look it up

Nope you can't complete ARP missions in ranked.

Which, IMO, is really stupid.  People want to play ranked.  But people also want to work the ARP missions.  And the fact that you can't do both at the same time is just plain dumb.

Terrible planning and customer service by WoWS staff to have these two things overlapping and not compatible.

I completely agree.  I'm slowly working on my Kongo atm, but I really want to pick up one of the ones with a different name, either Hiei or Kirishima due to the history factor.  I know they are the same, but I'd rather display one of those two names.

I don't see why they couldn't just adjust the ARP missions to cover both, unless doing so would reset all the counters, which would be worse.

Ya know, that's a good point.  I'm no fan of these cartoon ships, but that said, it does seem that it would have been better if they'd used the names of other ships in those classes, if for no other reason than the one you bring up.  Variety.

Utterly asinine you can't complete ARP in ranked. Still PVP after all.

I mean...  ranked would give you a better chance at fulfilling the kill missions, but do you really want people grinding the missions in ranked?

 

Half the forum is flooding with complaints about people playing stupidly just to get their mission objectives, and the other half is complaining about the idiots in ranked.

I really don't think combining them would solve the problem

Some can do both since I tend to play cruisers in ranked. What do they want cruisers to do in ranked? Oh that's right sink the DDs. So I am taking care of actual objectives to win a ranked match AND completing ARP objectives. Win-win.
