I'd be happy if those were the problems I had in RkB's. Mine are or, at least, seem worse. I can't get my teams to have their BBs and CA's sticking together. I even had a team where one of the BBs (a Kongo) completely tanked the battle, running away and never firing a shot. I've done 5-6 RkB's and in only one of them was the team even willing to act and move as a team. All the rest were beyond pathetic. Both times WG saddled me with complete morons who were firing cruiser based torps out of range, sinking friendlies with torps, ramming each other, running aground and finally going YOLO. My second game we just over 90 points away from winning on cap when two cruisers went charging up the middle one at a time resulting in a complete loss. Ranked battles = Not worth the time or aggravation babysitting players that should still be working on their tier 2 skill set. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When you (and those like you) say that "WG" did this or WG did that, you realize that there isn't a secret room where they lock up interns and force them to manually match up players, right? With the last irrevocable level happening just before the 15 to 10 bracket, it means that's where a lot of players will get stuck if they can't perform consistently. Over the years I have provided software architecture services for many fortune 100 companies and, I can say from experience, that given access to enough data I could deliver a MUCH BETTER matchmaker product. Unfortunately, this discussion is a dead horse though (look up war gaming matchmaking patent lawsuit), as WG has MM running exactly they way they want. The tier 5/6 battles are so full of incompetents or noobs who are unwilling to play as a team that I don't know if I have the patience to put up with these morons long enough to get up to the ranks where you get to use tier 8 ships. And why, oh why, isn't there an irrevocable rank where the tier 7/8's start being used? I want to play with players who at least have some idea how to play RkB's and a modicum of ability!
