The next season of ranked is upon us! Alright LittleWhiteMouse and bad_arcade_kitty, I look forward to getting stats on how many wins this new season will take to achieve rank 1 at given win rates! Your numbers and posts were very informative last season and were dead on for me. Other changes I am looking forward to is the shifting of the last irrevocable rank from 10 to 15 along with the gold matchmaking tier starting at rank 10. It looks like the purgatory tier in late season is going to be 15-11 and should result in improved matches at rank 10 and above. Good luck everyone and happy hunting!

BAK actually ran some stats last season as did LWM. They were quite helpful. LWM certainly had more posts but I'm not going to act like BAK did nothing of substance. As for anything non-stats related in those threads, I wouldn't remember because I was only looking for the information. I could not care less what people did or did not say outside of that.

Maybe you do not play Ranked. Realize that some of the people reading forums do play ranked and understand the number crunches.

Thanks for the numbers! I imagine I will be a bit better than that. I played most of ranked last season as CA which is not my natural class and that got exposed in the 5-2 matchmaking tier. This season I'll be going DD all the way. So I look forward to the win rate tables so I can start projecting. At least this season I will be deciding to play ranked before the last week of the season!

You do know it wont be long until someone comes along - not me of course - and states that phrase drives them nutz!
