I play a lot of FPS games and the sound comes thru in a surround state I can tell if there up, behind, right or left but in here in wows my sounds have reversed.. I keep thinking my headsets on backwards but I know it is not.

4 Yoleven Beta Testers 13 posts 4,608 battles Report post #4 Posted January 7, 2016 I can confirm this as well. I'm currently playing with some Sennheiser 363D headphones and the beeping from torps is often reversed, as are allies shooting nearby. I know the 363D's use Dolby Headphone, so maybe that's the issue? I've tried switching from 7.1 to 5.1 and the problem persists.

I finally reversed the headset but its incorrect for everything else on the computer. There is no way to "Flip" sounds in my software or hardware. It also sits incorrectly on my head now for this game. I have grown tired of hearing teammates shoot behind me to one side and make me wonder why are they between me and the enemy. This is a issue that needs fixing. Edited December 22, 2020 by xHeavy

Your reasoning makes logical sense ... but the reason why it matters is that bringing up old threads is "not acceptable" per the forum rules/guidelines ... Hapa's post references the appropriate link for the rules ...
