They do change things without announcing it and if this is one of them it's a significant step back.
46 [DAS] Focke66 Members 352 posts 23,906 battles Report post #5 Posted January 6, 2016 I really think it did. I had all my ships down to a chart, and its all different now using the same gunsight and zoom level. What used to be: Zoom out once, aim at "5" became aim at "6". But the previos "6" is now actually "8" Weird.

59 HalfPastZulu Members 211 posts Report post #8 Posted January 6, 2016 It seems to me that they have slowed down all shell flight times. You have to target ships now with the ship actually off the edge of the screen. Probably some crap attempt at fixing the aimbot mechanics.

188 Zyu Beta Testers 715 posts 3,660 battles Report post #11 Posted January 6, 2016 It all depends.. Captaining/Gunnery: What ship(s) are you referring to? Targeting/Enemy: What are your targets? Type/Nation etc. Every new ship I unlock has its own quirks one must adjust & become accustomed to. Every target you aim at has their own aiming requirements. Example - Shooting at a faster IJN BB at 18km requires more lead than a USN BB at the same distance. Try playing as many ships as I play regularly across the Tiers. Each one has their own little +'s & -'s and every enemy I face requires a different approach. Personally: I see zero difference in the amount of lead required to shoot enemies from Tier I up to Tier X(targets) with my Tier 2's up to Tier 8's that I am piloting. 3 [SWCCS] cmlgood Beta Testers 30 posts 12,877 battles Report post #13 Posted January 6, 2016 I have noticed it too. I have to aim really far ahead to the point i can barely see the other ship when i fire at max range. It happened to all nations too. My hindenburg is way off. No longer firing lasers.
