Saw this ship today in battle. 

 

Hoping it comes to NA servers in the near term. Love those Tier 8 premium ships!

 

DETAILS

The Sverdlov-class cruisers, one of which was named after Russian military commander Mikhail Kutuzov, were a Soviet answer to the powerful Cleveland-class cruisers of the US Navy. Mikhail Kutuzov, one of 14 examples that were built in the 1950s, would eventually become the last conventional artillery ship to serve in the Soviet Navy. Mikhail Kutuzov is the only ship of her class that has been preserved and now serves as a museum ship. In World of Warships, she will serve directly under your command...

So this thing is going to basically be Cleveland when she gets put into a CL line, except with torpedoes, better AA, better shell characteristics, smoke consumable, premium benefits and of course, being Russian. I don't know what to think.

I cannot wait for a tier 8 ship to completely obsolete AA from US cruisers all the way through tier 10. They really just had to cover their bases in case AA became useful again, didn't they.

It has a huge citadel from what I've seen, its very fragile. Cleve can take a hit if its lucky

Everyone is trying to make it out as op... it gets one smoke charge, lower range than a mogami, less guns than a mogami, and about the same citadel XD

It's been sold on every server but ours.  All the other servers now have several of the new premiums on sale for the second and third times.  Once again we get nothing.  Our NA team leaves a lot to be desired.  Shiftless and lazy.

Honestly it suprises me how the eu, sea,and ru all had packages or even just flat out buying the kutuzov, but when it came to na u get the dd and a f u. An I don't understand it a bit money is money an helps businesses grow so why offer the same things to all servers? Now if it was to be exclusive to the nation sure np just do it for nations. Me personally I'm really hoping for the uss alaska but that's me

She's got a pretty good AA rating for a Russian ship, thought their AA wasn't the greatest (short range).

I've played this ship extensively. It isn't overpowered, if anything it was a little underpowered which is why there was a delay between the test and the release. It's fun and it has it's strengths, but it isn't a game changer for ranked battles and there is no Russian bias here.

So between the both of you would you say the kutuzov is everything the atlanta should have been an more? I know they're a tier apart but it seems they play a like an the kutuzov is just twice the atlanta stat wise

Chronological order for 4* triple 6" Cruisers is Town Class (which was a response to Mogami & Brooklyn) -> Chapaev -> Cleveland -> Sverdlov.
