This overlap obscures the ongoing chat and distracts from situational awareness during the game. Is there some way to turn off or otherwise remove the quick messages so I can easily see and follow along with the ongoing chat?

So if someone is spamming SOS the convo about where the carrier is gets bumped as an example. If I am understanding what he is saying.

Disabling chat for a player doesn't disable the quick messages tho. Quick commands and in-battle reward notifications will remain active regardless of the state of the chat
