Being all purebred fighters, with a deep sense of honor and loyalty to the Vorta, coming from the waffen SS's motto "Mein Ehre heist treue" or "my honor is my loyalty" They were also clones, representing Germany's narrow idea of a master race. They were also extremely loyal to a God none of them had ever met but that their leaders, the vorta, had met and had told them about. The God being Hitler and the vorta being the Generals and commanders. The Jem'Hadar need no food, rest or oxygen, the only thing they need to live is a drug called Ketracel white which they are extremely addicted to and will die without, Ketracel white is supposed to represent Nazi propoganda. They come from the Gamma quadrant and rule an empire there, they invaded the Beta forcing the Federation, klingons and Romulan all to unite against the invaders, the Jem'Hadar nearly conqured the Gamma quadrant (Russia) before their former allies the Cardassian (Italy) switched sides and gave the allies the secret to the Jem' Hadar's Phased polaron weapons which ignored sheilds (the phased poloron representing Germany's technological lead over the allies for most of the war). eventually the Jem' Hadar were pushed back to the Gamma quadrant, were the Klingons, Federation and Romulans all took chunks of space there (signifyying the divide of Germany between the victors) really the Dominion war was just Star Trek's version of WWII.
