He's hit multiple times by two different ships and takes no damage at all from the cannon fire. Eventually his ship catches fire and takes some damage but it stops when he puts the fire out. He continues to take no damage until he's set on fire again and is eventually killed by a torpedo barrage.

The recording angle isn't good but it looks like the Atlanta is lobbing 5" directly into a Fuso's belt armor.  HE needs to go into the superstructure to be effective.

Still, he should have taken some damage, regardless of the armor . He didn't lose a single hit point at all from the cannon rounds.

Division mate and I ran into this in a tier 2 match.  We kept firing and he wouldn't die.  Was using AP switched to HE caught him on fire and he went down.  But I have seen it a bit.  Its not a hack, cheat.

Alright. I had considered it may have been a glitch. That he may have been taking damage all along but it just wasn't syncing up on my end to show it. But I hadn't encountered it before so I wasn't sure. I altered the video show that it would not appear that I was accusing the player of any wrongdoing.

its not a glitch or anything. its small 5" shells hitting an Armour belt... obviously its going to do no damage because its designed to stop Armour piercing...although u still can set them on fire and or knock modules out, it never damages. which is why i don't like shooting the Amagi in my Russian DD's.... it has a high Armour belt and a very small superstructure to hit, it does damage but not as much as lets say a tirpitz.

That is not cheating, that Atlantas 5 inch HE shells are little better than spit wads against the hull armor of a fuso. better success with AP shells at that rage aiming for deck penetrations or HE shells aimed at the superstructure to start fires, once you have a fire going in one place then aim for a different part of the ship to set on fire

I still say it's not the armor. More likely a bug in the game client. Even direct strikes on armor would still register hit point loss. Minor losses granted, but it would still take reduced damage. It's taking no damage at all from the cannon fire. not one single hit point. Again, not blaming anyone, most likely the game got out of sync like previously stated.

Depends, They were just going right into his belt armor, if they were firing HE no damage will be incurred.

Nope. Not a bug, not a desync, just HE rounds hitting BB's armor belt.

It's easy to determine, just ask the player who was doing the shooting.  Even if he didn't cause any damage, they would still register as hits.  When a desynch happens, you don't even get hits.  the rounds just go poof inside the ship.

It's PvE...

those bots - such hackers

The problem wasn't with the bot, but with the player getting shot by the bots

There is no place to report cheaters because Wargaming is absolutely convinced that they have coded the ultimate architecture that prevents any form of cheating. They have been having this attidude always and forever.

In this case though its surely not a cheat...obviously...bot match?`Are you serious?   Clickbaiting ? Trolling?  Obviously Twitch Streamer Video with music ? (blocked in my country for copyright issues) lol. You really made a name for yourself here ..atlanta trying to pen fuso belt armor LOL .why would you call out on someone like that without even knowing your facts! Retitle your thread to "Desynch or Legit bounces?" for instance.

And just for the record...No damage hacks or in this case selective no damage aint possible (how would that even work). What is usually possible in these games are ESP (detection of incoming threats long before you actually see them) , Aim Assist/Aim Bots, Visual Hacks to remove fog, obstruction of sight aka Wallhacks, or evil stuff that tries to destablize the server and mess with latency.

Not trying to make a name or anything. I was playing the final match for the evening with a friend who was using a tier lower than mine and he requested we play co-op so that he wouldnt be destroyed by higher level players. I had gotten myself killed towards the end of the match so I was bouncing the camera around.

What is in the video is what I saw as the match was ending. I had never seen it happen like that before so I saved a portion of the video to see if anyone had any answers. That's it.

To really cement any argument for cheating or anything suspicious REPLAYS uploaded should be the minimum proof so that a through examination is on hand.
