Genre/game noob in sight, fire when ready!

So I came across the game somewhat by accident via Youtube and the "Arppegio of Blue Steel" event (which I'm afraid I don't quite understand how it works) and was intrigued by the mechanics and the overall feel of the game and having recently been to the U-505 exhibit and the Intrepid museum I decided to give it a shot.  Having only played 5-6 games of Co-Op I have to say I'm developing a real interest in the game and I love that it doesn't really hold your hand and that it seems to reward perseverance and skill over who has the bigger guns.  As the title says I'm a total newbie to the genre but I've started watching videos to help improve and will hopefully improve to the point I can play PVP without screwing up a match.  I look forward to sending you all (and getting sent many times) to Davy Jones's locker!
