I bought the permanent camo for Gnevny and Cleveland, and while I like the benefits, I hate the appearance. So after the holidays are WG going to change it to something more historical, or will my ships forever look like Christmas wrapping?

No, they're going to stay looking like that unless you un-equip the camo.

how does appearance matter over functionality?? Just askin

It doesn't, which is why I bought it. But compared to the new premium camo's it sure don't look good. Was just wondering if anyone knew anything is all

You get what you pay for. There will be more perm camo added, that one is most likely going to stay that holiday scheme though. Will have to drop more gold on a less festive one when they are released.

Never heard that the Christmas camo was available to be bought permanently.

It's only on certain ships. The Minekaze, Nurnberg, Cleveland, and Gnevny.

I had the same question when I bought one for Minekaze to try. It is fugly, but it works, so I ignore the look. Hopefully someday, if we bug them enough, they might change it to something realistic.

You could always add some mods? Namely the "remove wargaming camo" mod and historical skins mods, you can find some good ones in aslain's modpack. (in addition to several other great mods, with a custom installer to make everything easy).
