I don't know how to take screenshots or how to save them.

I've been trying to find out how to take screenshots so that I can send a picture of a bug to one of the WG staff on the forums. I use an HP laptop. I have looked on Google to see how to take a screenshot and all sources have said to press "fn" followed by pressing either "insert" or "prt sc". I have tried doing that, as well as altenative methods such as also pressing "alt", but I have seen no success. Nothing has told me whether or not I have taken a screenshot. Also, if I ever do finally find out how to take a screenshot, I have no idea how to save it to my computer so I can show it later to the WG staff on the forums. Google has suggested using Paint but I have no confidence in that. I sorely hope that you people will provide me with the answers I seek.

Press printscreen. AutoSaved to your WoWS/screenshots folder.

No. I took various screenshots of my computer before going here and the screenshots folder I created is empty.

Edit*: Nvm, I found what you were talking about. Thanks.

if it's a screenshot of your game, just hit printscreen, if it's a screenshot out of the game, hit printscreen and then open up paint and control+V, then save it

Thanks for all the help guys, but my OCD is coming out.

Do we press just <prntscrn> or is it <ctrl> <prntscrn>?

Prntscrn? who the bleep uses prntscrn to uh... print a screen  lol

joking aside, I have added my game to my Steam as non steam game and use F12, this gives me the advantage of a free and unlimited image host as well :)

almost forgot, if you add the game to your Steam, you have to add the game exe, not the launcher. You know quick enough if you have to run the launcher as the game will tell you that you have an older version after an update

Hi Guys,

A quick question, how do you take the screenshot and post it in a message or reply? I can locate the image , but in the Image button (square with two mountains in it) it wants the URL...I've tired to drag and drop but to no avail.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Upload to an image hoster (i.e. imgur.com), then add URL to your post via the image button.
