Omaha Hull Upgrades

I currently run the C hull but heard that many prefer the B hull. I don't shoot down that many planes with the C hull which is supposed to be an AA conversion. Should I go with B?

I also want some historical information on the hull upgrades. I heard the C Hull is a 1944 refit. What about B Hull?

Also, I made another thread about how I think players are too passive. I am trying to play more cautiously, to be wiser.

The C hull gives you more AA as well as 2km more range, You're only ever losing one shell when you shoot, unless you're firing straight behind you.

I prefer the thought of surprising a carrier driver who is used to the B hull being common and watching a few rage as they actually lose half their squadron with an extra AA range omaha. (4.2 with the module upgrade)

I used the C hull. The loss of a few cannons from the main battery never felt like a big issue but the extra range made the choice for me.

The C hull is the way to go since you can hit ships over 17km away with the commander skill AFT and wreck Clevelands with ease. Its my go to seal clubber for just that reason.

C hull since it will give you the first halfway usable AA cruiser. Also for the extra range even the chance to hit isn't that good.

B hull also has two sets of torp tubes on each side which was very useful.

That is why I use B hull. That's what sealed the deal. If C hull had two sets per side then I would have used it.

I would use the B hull for knife-fights if not for the horrendous placement of some of the 28mm AA guns and such. The model needs work.

I personally went with the B hull. More torps and guns, and at those ranges really didn't need the extra range. Probably why I do so well with my Marblehead.

C hull for the range... no doubt about that. Sky cancer isn't that bad at that tier, but it's also nice to have the AA.

And I will never have respect for you because of your idiocy using that damn term.
