Naw, nothing wrong with DDs at all. Listen, I might be able to buy almost everything DDs are trying to sell in terms of how balanced the game is now...if they'd make the DDs easier to kill. Not easier to detect. Easier to kill. If my CA or BB can hit then it should hurt more than it is at the moment in my opinion. They really have to surrender some durability unless they give up some stealth or maneuverability or guns...or make the torps weaker. Something! Right now, DDs have it all and they know it. I disagree. The stats sites show that a lot of dds do really low damage compared to other classes. They're tougher ships to use since cruisers chew them up so easily that dds need to pick their battles really carefully, and they have a small number of guns that each don't do much damage. Like any ship they can be used effectively, but most dds are not op. I'm not saying that there aren't any overpowered dds, but don't worry too much about it. DDs are not usually as easy to use as some select high damage games posted online suggest. the vast majority of the time people are not getting big damage in dds (except some IJN dds, and formerly Kiev).
