warshipstats.com - broken by update?

I've been playing for 6+ weeks or so, starting to settle in a bit.  Noticed the sig pics lots of folks have showing stats from warshipstats.com, and I'd glanced at it a few weeks ago.  I happened to look my stats up today, and it shows my past 7 days with -0- battles.  I've actually played a lot (for me) in the last 3 days, maybe 25-30 battles.  Did the last update break warshipstats?

It's possible! Maybe the site's devs are also away for the holidays and may fix it when they get back. Or it could just be slow at updating stats. Best thing would be to contact the site owner (owners?), I think...

I stopped playing and checking warship stats for about 3 months and after I started playing again I still didn't check. So to my surprise after a good 40 battles warshipstats wasn't keeping track. Best I can figure it only actively tracks people who log on an check their stats.

The overall stats are current, but yeah, the daily/weekly is off

Update, I logged in and used a 'force update' - that made a lot of difference, tho it still doesn't show any stats in the last 24 hours when I've been in 9-10 or so.  Anyway, seems like the last update isn't the problem, which answers my original question.  Thanks, all.

If there's an empty space it'll fill that space with your "today's stats". It's not a bug from the update.

Warshipstoday is honestly better, try it.

 

The only thing I like about Warshipstats is the graphs tracking win and damage rate, but to have to donate to be able to update stats is corny....

You only have to donate to force update your stats more than once/day. Otherwise it's a freebie.

 

Also, Warships.Today doesn't have a sig line that I can find. Is there one?

I just checked out Warshipstoday.  I liked it!   Graphs are nice on Warshipstats however.  I played a game a few minutes ago and it was already listed on Warshipstoday.  Just checked.

Nope -  I have done the force update.. only thing different is I blocked my stats on wargamming.

you see the irony in telling people that they can't look at your stats right?

I hope it stays broke for good.  Stat padding has contributed to the downfall of tanks, with players only worried about their win8.  Of course wins don't count in Win8 like damage, so players will throw a game just to get more damage. 

 

Losing sight of the fun and the objective of the battle, to focus on stats is never a good thing. Players who do this, can in fact have a negative impact on their team and can cause the game to be less fun.  It is a game after all and should be fun.

 

I realize what qualifies as fun is different for every person.

 

Fun for me does not just mean tracking stats, and keeping my stats as high as possible. It is fighting to meet the objective of the battle, doing your best to win.  I would never throw a win just to see my stats go up.

I agree on stat padding.  I look at the stats just to see if I'm getting better.  Which I am.    S  L  O  W  L  Y  .
