Seems I missed the Imperator Nikolai... What do?

Having gotten dragged away for serious MMORPG Internet Spaceship business in EVE Online, it seems I totally missed my chance to purchase an Imperator Nikolai.

 

I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of, or knows if WG has indicated that they will be placing this ship on sale again for a longer period of time? Maybe even with some type of email blast next time? (I wish)

 

... man I really feel let down I missed buying one. Someone give me some good news please.

They didn't say.

 

At one point, they implied that the Warspite, Tirpitz, and Nicholai would be on sale two times a year each. It wasn't a promise, though.

as the Tirpitz and Warspite were sold again just a couple of weeks ago... id assume the imperator will be sold again.... when is the question!

There's always the chance Nikolai will find its way into the tech tree and be available for Doubloons at some point, like what finally happened with the Ishizuchi not too long ago.

I don't think Imperator is going to be a very rare ship. So I would say you should see it in the store again sometime soon. Maybe a month or two. Definitely check on New Years Day incase WG has a sale or special or something. They like to time those with holidays.

 

And if you see it definetly get it. It wasn't priced to bad and its a very good ship and very fun to play. Plus great training for whenever the Russian/Soviet BB line is released.

The catch with re-releasing the Imperator Nikolai I is that she overperforms.  She has a combination of excellent gun handling, firepower and survivability which has made her the most overperforming tier 4 in the game at present.  Wargaming is less likely to release an unbalanced premium as often as to not saturate the market.  If World of Tanks is any indicator, it may become increasingly rare as time goes on (See:  E 25, Type 59, SU-85I, etc).

All one can do it keep their eyes out on the shop.  The biggest drawback, her speed.  Slow.

Still hoping for a surprise sale tomorrow! I'm starting to doubt it though as the Blyskawica has been the only real new ship available over Christmas. Was hoping like WoT they'd bring the others back over the Christmas - New Year week like they did with the "only available for the advent day!" tanks, then released all of them (still on sale now) for this whole last week! We can only hope!!

Hey look, at least it gives me time to figure out why I do so bad in her before even more Nikolais come rolling around.

i just logged into wow after not playing since november and it was just there in my port i dont know if it was given to everyone or if i did something to recieve it but i didnt pay for it or anything
