Question to WG veterans

I was just wondering if WG generally does anything for New Years?  I will be in need of some premium time shortly and I notice on wot it has a slight discount right now should I pull the trigger or wait and see what New Years brings?

Usually there's something, but it may be lumped into 'holiday' deals or it could be an in-game thing like bonus xp, vehicle sales, etc.

It's probably best to wait if you can..  in your case though, the deal runs out before new years so I'd say go for it if you think it's a good deal.

Additionally they have released a new premium ship, the Emden, a Tier II German cruiser. Best really to consider it a gift ship. It can be purchased with gold from the German tech tree or you could complete a series of three missions to be gifted the ship for free. I would recommend doing the missions as its free and as the missions are fun. The Emden is a good ship not great but certainly pretty. The missions to get the Emden will remain active for another week I believe so time is limited.

Yes there is usually a set of missions or bonuses that often run the first couple of weeks during the new year. Not sure if WOWS will follow WOT but I would not be surprised if they did.
