Legal Mods...

I couldn't find a post, anyone have a link to a legal world of warships mod...looking for a damage counter and other odds etc...but nothing like aim bot or a point assist.

none are illegal, just some are severally frowned upon by everyone/actively hunted down. Damage counters, skins, aim reticles, tech tree's, ect...  are all legal and no one cares if you have them. (just don't pay for anything...)

Asians is a great place to start.

Overall just avoid any of the rumored aiming mods out there and you will be fine.

I for one have great fun painting my ships.

Download Aslains mod pack.

 

there has only been one mod for WoWS to my knowledge that will get you a ban and thats the aim assist- however Aslain does not include this into his packs- nor will you find it easily on WG forums

depending on what website you downloaded it from- it could just be a false positive. Malware also likes to be launched from executables and the modpack installer does overwrite existing files. 

 

If you are downloading using Aslains links on aslain.com you should be safe. Thats where I download from him.

 

 

Failing that you could always try and source the individual mods that you want and manually install the files

Another vote for Aslain's.

Pick and choose the ones you want to install. I only use very few.

 

The only down side, is that whenever there is a patch, they stop working. Aslain is good and within a day or so he issues a patch to his stuff. For small WG patches (e.g. 0.5.2 to 0.5.2.1) you can just copy the contents of the res_mod folder to a new one named with the current WOWS version and it generally works fine. I do that, then test ion a Coop battle. If it does not work (major patches tend to do that (e.g. 0.5.1 to 0.5.2), then you wait for Aslain to re-publish.

AVG is known for finding false-positives esp. if you download directly from Aslain. I asked him about this and he said all his stuff is checked.

This isn't true. You can be banned for use of certain mods. Perhaps that doesn't meet this person's definition of "illegal" but I'm a simple dude. Sounds illegal to me. 

 

The people mentioning Aslain's pack are right on the money. I had it throw up that same threat flag, but like they said, just get it from the source and you're fine.

Same here. Aslain's is the only mod pack I will use. Given the longevity of his pack in WoT, I highly doubt he'd put in a mod that WG officially disapproves.

just head to the addon mod section in the forum and u fine a great list of mods to choose...

 

For one option u can replace everything with ponies add on....

 

2. u can replace everything with kancolle where instead warning sound for torpedos is now poi.....
