Soooooo prior to today 5.2.1 or 5.1389764786418762345674 patch...

 

In the training room, when it was working, you were getting the 1.25x captain experience, even though your base exp was ZERO.

Sooooo today, with the new patch...

Click battle, exit queue... get 1.25x captain exp for zero base lol.

Repeat. Still persists.

 

Who in the blue hell is being paid of this laziness? Granted it doesn't amount to a hill of in-game consequences, but...

If that's the quality of programmers we have on staff... good GOD.

Edit: Explains alot with the craptastic patches.

Instead of the 3x first win plus .25 for the challenge, I just got 2.25x instead in my Indy just now. Worked fine in every other ship, even my IJN CV.

You're using a mode that isn't publicly available and is largely unfinished.

It's like complaining that the game disables replays every so often.

 

The training room and replays are both disabled because the code involved is unfinished. 

You're not supposed to have access to those features, the only way you do is because you're tricking the client into enabling the code portions via a mod or an XML edit.

The vanilla version of the game does not freely give access to those features.

That happened on my Kongo earlier as well. Was looking at the results screen and it had 2.25xp instead of the 3x for first win. Second game, with win in Iowa it was 3x. /shrug. :hmm:

Lazy programming seems to be just "par for the course" these days.....

It's all about extracting as many $$$$ as possible.....for the minimal possible effort and outlay.....

 

Only wish I had the skills to make what it SHOULD be myself........but sadly.....not gunna happen anytime soon.

Can't argue there...they certainly are messing with things and messing up things in the same broad stroke.

This. We aren't supposed to have access to training rooms, the code is unfinished, and so on.

You're picking rather small nits out of that, CharminMedium.

If they can't spare the effort to preclude the challenges, rewards, etc from training room, co-op, etc... an especially.

Pressing battle and then exiting queue, and getting a reward for zero... how much effort are they putting into everything else?

Or a functional port chat, or an in-game chat ignore, or a bunch of crap that we said needed to happen before beta.

But that's just par for the course at this point/cart before horse. *shrug*

While internet updates are great for fixing things, they have created a lot of half [edited]releases over the years.  The last to get it were console players like myself and we now feel your pain.  When BF4 released on PS4, you couldn't play conquest at all.  One of the expansions for Fallout New Vegas was unplayable because of a massive framerate drop .
