200 tortelloni Members 713 posts Report post #7 Posted December 29, 2015 I'm loving the swap from speed boost to Defensive Fire on my USN DD's for partially this reason (the other part is wrecking some fighters/bombers from CV's and the pesky overhead spotter shadowing movements). I'd rather take down planes than try to go a bit faster running away from being air spotted. (not to mention eat his defense up when I go for a torp run on him and he launches TB and DB at me) Def fire; love it, use it, burn down the air force!
