WG already said no... so wouldn't count on it. It has been beaten as much as the other dead horses

Plus the tech tree ships are named for their lead ship in class

Good grief. Use the effing search function, so we don't have to go over for the hundredth time the whole war grave/only famous for exploding/butt hurt patriotism drama.

Then why is the Yamato in game

It wasn't the lead ship, and WG should NOT pander to those people who are ignorant of this by ignoring that the Pennsylvania was the name ship of the class.

Too controversial to be implemented.

Eventually they plan to add a parallel USN BB line. Pennsylvania is almost assuredly gonna be a tier 6 in that line and I'm willing to bet the "B" hull will look a lot like the Arizona in '41. After that, a small mod to the name file could take you the rest of the way if you need "Arizona" in your game.

Personally, I'd love to see it a premium but it seems controversy will kibosh that.

A post PH rebuild of West Virginia would be a really really cool premium though if WG would like to take more of my money.

Would the Pennsylvania be better at tier 5, rather than tier 6? Though the the New Mexico's were essentially repeat Pennsylvania's with a sexy, new bow, the New Mexico's also had the improved 50 caliber gun, and better turrets. Of course that would lump the New York, Nevada and Pennsylvania into one tier. Of course I would personally put the New Mexico's and Colorado's in the same tier too.

There was a thread about this a few months back, it got hundreds of replies and way too heated, so WG just said no and closed the thread.
