Will WG release a list of Rank 1

Will WG release a list of people that made Rank 1 at the end of the season or is there another place that will have this information?  Just wondering

EU did for last season, and they released a list of Rank 1s for this season so far the other day, but I don't recall NA doing that.

 

If they do, I hope I'm on it...slid down to 4 yesterday.

Over all 4 servers maybe, but not within a server. I found EU's midseason update, and it mentions that EU has the most Rank 1s of any server at 503 when the update was written.

The pilot season had a whopping 750~800 rank 1s

The only real limits on the number of rank 1s are the number of active participants.  I admittedly have a limited understanding of the queue system for Ranked Battles (I believe ranks 10 through 6 are in one Matchmaking queue, 5 through 2 are in a second)  but so long as there are enough people lining up, you'll have the opportunity to progress.

 

A low-ball guess for the NA server would be about 300 Rank 1 players.  My high-ball guess would be 800.

EU has 503 on Friday, and they had many many more than than the other servers. I'd say NA is under 100 still.

It would be nice to know how many players make Rank 1 but I wonder if the player names should be publicized.

A lot of players cannot participate past Rank 10 since not everyone has a tier 7 or higher ship - not everyone is buying those 'Lollipops for Suckers' (premium ships).

Myself, I will miss progressing past Rank 10 since I likely won't even get my one tech line I'm working on to tier 7 by the deadline - I will have to do Season 3 when that begins.

That's the Premier League flag, and all it says is that you managed to reach Rank 5. It also goes away next Tuesday when the season ends. The Rank 1 flag is the Jolly Roger. It stays after the season ends.

Yea was a rough season......seemed to be way to dependent on how decent your DD's were. I would like to see next season with no split caps. I think just the 1 cap circle mode with the 60 sec countdown and let ships go to town.

The dependence of DDs came from a general absence or a lack of aggression from cruisers.  If you had good cruisers, the effect of DDs are significantly marginalized.  That's one of the reasons I stopped playing high-ranks in my Tirpitz and switched over to my Atago.

If you had a compitent cruiser with any backup contest a cap they would absolutely wreck the DDs. With no backup you had a serious problem.

 

That's why I liked playing my Sims. Launch a wide spread every minute to keep the timid from closing the range.
